Abstract

The open-access movement is now ten years old but we are far from realising its goals. Yet there are still signs of hope, albeit amid a difficult financial climate. In this talk, Dr. Martin Eve will outline the current state of open access and the theoretical and practical challenges that are both holding up its implementation and looming in the future.
