Abstract
Book synopsis: Analiza el papel de las mujeres en la doble vertiente de la esclavitud: por una parte, su importancia numérica en la historia de España, evidenciando las huellas que han dejado las esclavas en las fuentes históricas, literarias e iconográficas; y por otra, el papel desempeñado por mujeres abolicionistas españolas.
