    Abstract

    The volume was published in the first edition of the Media Art Festival in Rome, an event dedicated to the relationship between art and new technologies, to enhance the artistic creations made ​​with new digital tools. It is an event - project that creates a bridge between schools, research centers, universities and companies, bringing the younger generation to a new way of understanding and using technology, by stimulating the development of strategic skills and the creation of new professional profiles. Support the Festival the book stands as a traditional catalog but proposes a series of essays divided into three sections: Theories, Historiens and Perspectives.
