    Abstract

Additional Information: Translated book synopsis: The volume includes the results of the 5th Epigrammata Conference , held on January 31 - February 1, 2019 at the Department of Literary, Philosophical and Art History Studies of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Experts in historical - epigraphic and archaeological disciplines have focused their attention on a theme, the Cyclades, an object of great interest in recent years, also in relation to the numerous archaeological excavations undertaken by Eforia and in collaboration with various foreign schools and universities. ; in particular, starting from the epigraphic documentation, which in the Cycladic world plays a preponderant role, and from the comparison with other types of sources available, the Proceedings of the meeting show how the political-institutional aspects are a privileged place of investigation to highlight the complexity and the strong differentiation of island contexts and, on the other hand, also their undoubted vocation for interaction and reciprocity.
