Abstract

Book synopsis: From the second phase of the program "France - Germany in the twentieth century. - The production of knowledge about the Other "of the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme Lorraine, this volume is primarily dedicated to visions of Other aired during three generations on both sides of the Rhine by scholars of Germany and France. His first chapter examines the conflicting visions of the Other produced by these experts until the Second World War. The second chapter focuses on active players from the 1930s to the end of the century, is dedicated to work towards the neighboring country marking both the critical distance and the desire for openness. The third chapter, on university assets mainly after 1945, is organized around the ideas of empathy and cooperation with the other. The last chapter, meanwhile, involves actors from the 1920s to the present day, have located their publications in an essentially transnational perspective. Der zweite Teilband Forschungsprojektes of "Deutschland und Frankreich im 20. Jahrhundert. - Über das andere Akademische Wissensproduktion Land" widmet sich den vorwiegend Sichtweisen Frankreich und Deutschland auf, wie sie drei Generationen universitärer Spezialisten beider Länder über die jeweils' andere' Nation vermittelt haben. Within erstes zielt Kapitel auf die antagonistischen Ansichten 'of Others', wie sie diese bis zum Spezialisten Zweiten Weltkrieg in ihren Schriften entfalteten. Das zweite, auf die seit den 1930er Jahren Akteure bis zum Kapitel Jahrhundertende konzentrierte befasst sich mit deren jeweils wichtigsten Werken über das Nachbarland, die durch zugleich kritische Distanz und eine werden können Wechselseitige Annäherung charakterisiert. Dritte das sich um die dreht Kapitel der Ideen und Empathy Kooperation mit dem jeweils 'Anderen', wie sie die nach 1945 vorwiegend tätigen Universitätslehrer entwickelten. Im letzten Kapitel geht es um schließlich solche Akteure von den 1920er Jahren bis in unsere Tage, deren Publikationen eine transnational Perspektive einnehmen.
