Abstract
Looking at Major League Baseball and the Premier League, Eric Kaufmann suggests that sports statistics could have surprising lessons for students of politics. From Major League Baseball to the English Premiership, the field of sports statistics has blossomed over the last decade. Drawing analogies from the sporting world, Eric Kaufmann argues that the sudden embrace of all things quantitative could have interesting lessons for students of politics.
