Once and for all we have caught it: the ingredients for the most perfect teatime moment. We want to present it to you, to re-construct it for you exactly, precisely and then hold onto it, maintain it. We want to rest in a limbo of loveliness where there are no raised voices and we are cocooned in a blanket of sugar. We've got it all worked out. Timed to perfection. Expect high standards: No stray hairs or words. Everything will be put in its place. We are waiting for you with baited breath. Prepare to be dazzled by the night on impossible act of perfection that will be conjured before your very eyes.
This is a shout out to anybody in the Frankfurt area later this month. Lucy and Martha, a UK-based performance group of extraordinary talent -- the latter of which I am extremely proud to have previously performed with -- will be presenting the premiere of their work "Fine Bone China" at the Plateaux festival.

Manufactured pop? I think not. An aesthetics of failure.
