Abstract
The 5 K luminescence spectra of TcCl2−6 in Cs2TeCl6 and of TcBr2−6 in Cs2ZrBr6 have been measured between 15000 and 3000 cm−1. Five electronic transitions between the states derived from the t23g configuration are observed each showing extensive vibronic structure. The assignments of the transitions are discussed.
