Abstract
Event synopsis: The politics of globalization and the destabilizing pressure on trade union rights and labor have increased since the global financial crisis in 2008 unionism in all its dimensions, is greatly shaken. How can it be renewed redeploying on an international basis while it is increasingly door overhang with the political and economic decisions? The meeting during the two days of discussion and debate has as objective to compare the results of scientific studies that have been conducted in various disciplines interested in the existence of trade unions: history, sociology, political science, social economics, law . This interdisciplinary exchange between scholars will be enriched by the intervention of union leaders to present their vision and experience to increase international social solidarity.
