    Abstract

    Event synopsis: The Interuniversity Research Centre on Globalization and Work (CRIMT) in collaboration with the CISO, CSQ, CSN and FTQ, organizes a symposium on the international trade union action. this conference aims to take stock of the various solidarity initiatives implemented by the unions to local, national and international levels. Since the creation of the first programs of cooperation and humanitarian development, involvement Association at the International has evolved. Today there are multiple networks cooperation and the development of new tools such as trade union regulation framework agreements International, the shareholder engagement or d'approvisionnement responsible policies. If the Action Global Union has come up against many obstacles, it also raises many hopes. Becoming more unions make connections beyond their borders in order to promote and defend the interests of workers. This appointment must address the issues of the hour. What tools and resources available to unions? How to ensure a dialogue between the North and the South? How to sensitize workers to the challenges of the international trade union action? How these actions can they improve working conditions here and elsewhere? These are all questions that will provoke discussion among participants at workshops and plenary sessions. Fifty lecturers and trade unionists from here and d'ailleurs will recount their own experiences of international solidarity. The union action Without Borders is an opportunity preferred for trade unionists d'échanger on the challenges and opportunities of building and the d'élargir union solidarity.
