Abstract
The notion that Occupational Psychology (OP) must, for some unspoken reason, be Positivist is a substantial challenge for the discipline and especially for practitioners. Within The Academy this rigid belief is somewhat moderated by exposure to broader and more considered viewpoints, but outside of The Academy there is no such tempering.
