    Abstract

    This is a review of a book of essays by cultural critic Nurdan Gürbilek, published in Turkish and entitled Sessizin Payı (The Share of the Silent). The review teases out the importance of this publication for law and literature scholarship and how it can intervene in contemporary political debates.
