Abstract
Since 1997 the Effective Pre - school, Primary and Secondary Education Project (EPPS E) has investigated academic and social - behavioural development in a national sample of approximately 3,000 children from the ages of 3+ years to age 16+. This report details the post 16 destinations of the EPPSE students six months after they left compuls ory education aged 16+. It details information from questionnaires sent to the young people that identified those who had remained in full time education, had taken a combination of work and study, gone into employment or who were not in education, employm ent or training (NEET). In addition it details students’ survey responses to questions about who they sought advice from regarding their futures, their level of happiness, their family composition and information regarding their post 16 situations.
