Abstract
The restitution of function after brain damage is an important issue which deserves effort, attention and explanation. In the area of treatment of agraphia, the beginning of an avenue for rehabilitation now seems to be available. Research efforts are required to identlfy the variables in patients and treatment techniques to optimize successful outcomes.
