Abstract
An audio piece commissioned by Artangel for the installation And She Built a Crooked House by Gemma Anderson-Tempini. A collage piece that draws on sources identified by Dr Mark Blacklock's research into historical texts explicating ideas of the fourth dimension from the late-nineteenth century to the contemporary moment. It responds to and illuminates the installation pieces throughout the building at Burton Grange, highlighting concepts drawn from the cultural histories of the fourth dimension and string theory that have informed them.
