Event Synopsis: The Englishman William Rowe extraordinarily insightful studies devoted to Peruvian literature and enriched his body with unprecedented critical visions. Deep knowledge of history and Andean anthropology, Rowe has used as few, to build new bridges between writing and society, literary fiction reinserted into the fabric of the living culture and eventually challenged major texts of our hermeneutical tradition. In fact, Rowe has debated the concept of heterogeneity of Antonio Cornejo Polar, raised on the opposition of the lyrics and voice, that is, the western Andean writing and orality. Rowe, on the other side, the Quechua world recognizes the possession of a deed-in the broad sense-registration, however, is not, as Cornejo, a different voice system, which is assembled postulates. Rowe has also discussed the findings upheld by Vargas Llosa in The archaic utopia about "indigenismo" Arguedas. For the English critic, Arguedas's work that avoids cataloging, only justifiable from a dualistic view, precisely to shape a mobile universe crowded with voices and perspectives.
